Can you delete built in apps from your Macbook? Having trouble with Apple Music
I recently updated my Macbook Air to Os x Catalina and I am now having numerous issues with Apple Music app on my mac. I can readily access Apple Music on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and my iPad Pro without having any problems arise and they are on the same Apple ID. I can no longer access the "iTunes Store" column in the left side of the app, it just tells me that there seems to be no internet connection. I am 100% connected to the internet every time I try to open it, as I can search through google or access Blackboard assignments without any connection issues. I have tried it on multiple wifi networks in my house and multiple wifi networks at friends houses or at school. I can no longer access the "For You" column in the Apple Music app. It shows me a "Try Now" screen but when I click it, a popup screen appears but nothing ever loads on it and I have to force quit the app to try to open anything else on the app. I have gone to the menu bar while in Apple Music and clicked "Account", "Sign in", enter my log in information, and it doesnt do anything. When you click on it again, it was like I never tried to log in in the first place. My Apple ID email and password are not entered incorrectly, as it doesnt show me any wrong email/password notification and whenever I purposefully enter a wrong password, it does give me that notification. I never had this issue before updating my Mac. I have been on countless chats with agents that try to help me solve the issue, then transfer me to another guy who tries to help me solve the issue, who transfers me to another guy who says he is going to call me and never does, and so on. I am not too sure how to approach this problem, as I dont really understand what these error messages are saying. The only resolution I can think of would be to delete Apple Music app from Macbook and restore it... but I'm not sure how to do that, or if you can even delete built in apps on a Macbook Air. I have attached all the error messages I have received below for reference. PLEASE HELP!!!
