After upgrading to Catalina I can't unlock the padlock in System Preferences. My user is admin on my Mac.
Doesn't matter where in System Preferences I try to unlock the padlock it does not work. When typing in my pw it "jiggles" and then want me to retype the pw. But it is the same pw I use when I log on.
Anyone else have the same problem?

I see you're having issues with your admin password not being accepted by the System Preferences app.
Your best first step will be to try resetting the keychain password which is the same as the admin password.

How will this affect the iCloud Keychain? Will it reset the keychain there as well?
I have reseted the keychain password but it didn't help. Still have the same issue as before. When trying to unlock system preferences it won't accept my pw.
