Is anyone having problems with Google back up and sync since they've started using Catalina? My MacBook simply won't back up from the Google Drive folder to the cloud since I installed Catalina. I've tried reinstalling the Google App a number of time but with no joy. Can't find much on the internet about it either.

I am having no issues myself.
Check in System Preferences->Security & Privacy under the
Privacy option under Files and Folders. Have you enabled
access? if not you may need to add it.
You may have done this already, but have you double checked
all your preferences in BackUp & Sync? For what ever reason,
occasionally system updates may corrupt or change a preference file.
Thanks, I have checked and they are appropriately ticked, so that's not the problem. Tried reinstalling the app numerous times now and it's making no difference. Very annoying.
Yup, that was it. Thanks. Stupid of me not to check but we live and learn I suppose. It's fine now!
