I've 13" MacBook Pro (Early 2011 released model) and use it for personal browsing. Now it became very slow and over heating quickly. I've tried factory restore and installed lower version of OS to reduce the load, but still no use. I would like to upgrade my Mac only with Processor/Mother board. Any suggestions? I cannot afford for new Mac now.

but you can afford to replace the 'burned out mechanical hard drive ' with a SSD. go to macsales.com or go to Best Buy and purchase an SSD quite cheap. Use OWC video for install instructions but its very easy.

I've changed my HDD with Samsung SSD, which improved my laptop performance significantly. However, I still observe that fan running at higher speeds very often. Cleaning and applying thermal paste would help to reduce the heat?

So, do u think the problem is with Harddrive? How can I confirm that rest of my hardware is healthy? Do I need to visit apple store for that?
If you could get hold of an external thunderbolt drive, boot from it and you'll notice quite an improvement over that internal drive.
