does ipad 6th gen 9.7 inch support quick charging?
I'm struggling to google up my device since its the normal version (not pro or air, just ipad), and the search keeps adding the word pro to it and giving me wrong results.
I've got 2 questions,
I own: iPad 6th gen 2018 9.7" (not pro).
1) does it support any sort of quick charging?
If I buy lightning to type c cable, with a power delivery charger, will it charge faster using 9v or 12v (18Watts) instead of the standard 5v/2a (10W)?
or will it just charge normallly? or will it not even work?
I really want a certain answer here, struggling confirming it 100%.
also,
2) what protocol or things should I look for in order to get a good 5v/2a charger?
(please don't just say apple branded.. thats the obvious, I want a real spec / mark that other brands are mentioning that saying that this will charge fast "just as the original")
I own very large various of chargers (QC3.0,PD,normal 5v/2a, computer ports etc..), I've tested a lot of them with my usb voltmeter, and got really various results.
It seems like the iPad sometimes "likes" the charger and pull more power over other chargers where it pull less (sometimes way less) than the true capability of the charger..
Also funny fact, I found some chargers and cables that charge faster than the original 5V/2A apple branded charger and cable that came in the box.
I'm attatching my results for any one who's concerned about:
thanks ahead!
