microphone problem with iPhone SE

When I make a call, call receiver is not able to listen my voice. But if I switch it to speaker mode then call receiver is able to listen my voice.

iPhone 14 Pro - microphone doesn’t work on voice calls? Recently when making or receiving voice calls on my iPhone Pro I have noticed that the other party on the call cannot hear me if I have my phone in normal handset mode, however if I switch to speaker mode they can hear me fine? I’ve recorded voice notes to the phone to check the mic and they are also clear? I have also cleaned the speaker/mic area in the event there was dust/debris in the mic, again no improvement in mic quality on calls…when making receiving calls I am now forced to use Speaker mode or my earbuds to have a conversation??? I am current on all recent releases to the phone. Any thoughts or advice as to next steps here?
