Noticing dots of light along vertical edges of my screen. Does anyone know what this is?

For an iPad Pro, with a laminated screen (combines all elements of the backlight, diffuser, LCD panel, digitiser and cover glass), this is one of the early signs of delamination. It’s a fault - resolvable only by replacing the entire screen.

If you’re within warranty or have extended AppleCare, Apple might offer you a swap for a reconditioned device of the same model/spec (if available). Apple don’t generally offer a repair service per-se, instead they offer to exchange for the “brown box” recon’ device. If outside an Apple warranty, they might offer you a chargeable exchange (much cheaper than buying new - but it’ll still be “brown box” device).

If outside of warranty, or you purchased elsewhere, then your options will differ if your return to your retailer.
