My HomePod has no bass and makes a popping sound, has anybody encountered a fix for this? I’ve tried moving locations rocking it power cycling it and updating it nothings seems to work. It is out of warranty so replacing it is out of the question and having it fixed by Apple is $25 less than buying a new one.
Well that’s definitely not worth repairing if it costs that much.
try a reset then set it up again

We can only offer solutions you perform yourselves on here. I don’t know what else to suggest, except to try resetting it to see if it’s a software issue. Might be a hardware problem though.
The popping sound has been reported
shabby customer service, very disappointing that an item that just sits on a counter, seems to just stop working and my response is should have bought the service plan. Anyone know if it can be fixed?
I’ve tried everything, the diagnostic done at the Apple store didn’t diagnose the issue. If it did It wasn’t explained to me.
you could trey installing the most recent software 13.3.
