MacBook 16-inch Fan Noise

No CPU activity, no external monitor connected, just passively watching websites, temperature 95-100 degrees, fan roaring like crazy. Thank you, Apple ...

I have a DisplayPort to USB-C and I'm still experiencing the same issue (check attached screenshots). Are you 100% sure about this or is just an assumption?

I think there is something wrong there also, the highest I have seen is over 170,000 hours in a day:

I'm also seeing that the dGPU memory fills up fast from doing nothing, after 15 minutes it goes to 100%, that is with only an IDE and terminal open:

Yes the Turbo Boost is off, also the CPU isn't showing any high activity in activity monitor. Spotlight indexing and google drive sync is off also.

If you go into activity monitor there should be a column under CPU

Running that page, connected to 2-4k screens in clamshell mode caused the temperature and power usage to be about the same:

I noticed constant GPU spikes also when checking in istat, it should not behave like that, yes?

The strange thing is in activity monitor I don't see anything under GPU history:

That is not normal for mine. I wonder if that might be the key indicator of whether the MBP 16" is a good one or a bad one? Here is mine:

Today I ended up using my iPad Pro for the video conference, while my $4500 computer was sitting there.......

I dont want to say anything for sure without extensive testing over time, but i am running under 60c and fans on 2600 quite stable for now.

Just did an SMC reset and it has gotten worse! It was over 90c when first booted and now leveled out at 80+ after a few minutes... No apps running >_<
