Hello, can anyone please tell me if it is normal to have iPhone X volume buttons wiggle and make a sound when shaking the phone a bit?
i bought the phone second hand and wondering if it is ok... I’m mostly worried about if the waterproofing is fine on it.

I had the same thing on my iPhone 5, when shaking the phone you hear the button wiggle (rattle-ish noise) this is normal.
Wear on buttons may cause this issue over time, but aslong as everything works there's nothing to worry about.
Never question how far you can push it with water resistance ( the iPhone X carries an IP67 certification, can withstand being submerged in water for up to 30 minutes in up to 1.5m depth). It's risky. :)
Here comes the catch, even if you claim it to be within these "limits" its never covered under Apple's warranty.
