passcode screen not working

Hi, I’ve just updated my iPad to 13.2.3 and following the prompt to enter my passcode nothing happens! The screen just stays on for a few seconds, then goes off. I’ve tried several times and know the passcode is correct, as it’s the one I used to verify the update. Tried rebooting the iPad several times as well, but still no joy. Any suggestions?

As I stated, the issue is with the passcode screen staying on, after the CORRECT code was entered. Therefore I couldn’t actually get into the iPad. After trying for around half an hour and rebooting numerous times the issue has now cleared. The issue occurred immediately following the latest software update, so could be linked to that. Hopefully now it’s cleared it will not happen again.
