Ipad Pro Wi-Fi connectivity issue. WI-FI NETWORK IS NOT THE ISSUE

I have 3 devices that use my home wi-fi network. For the last few days, my ipad pro's wi-fi in settings is on with a strong signal yet, I cannot access the internet & there is no wi-fi icon in the status bar. My other 2 devices are connected & working fine, & all of the network settings are correct. Things I've done to correct the issue on my ipad; I've turn it off for a few min then on & I've reset the network settings. I've done these steps several times. This ipad is only about 2 years old & used for my business. I'm desperate. Help is appreciated.

I forgot to mention that I AM able to access internet & wi-fi required activities when I use my iphone as a personal hotspot for the ipad. It operates very slow and I tried to update it while connected to hotspot, unsuccessfully, I'm guessing bc it didn't have enough juice, or bc it must be connected directly to wi-fi itself. Would that help identify the problem? I'm attaching a screenshot of the view of my ipad wi-fi settings when I have the wi-fi on. You'll notice wi-fi is on with a strong connection, also notice in the status bar at the top of the page, where the wi-fi connection status should be, there is none.
