Is there an app that is like the Windows version of Snip that I can use on Catalina 10.15?

Honestly, the "Snip" app on a Windows machine is the easiest and most intuitive app for getting screen shots. The Apple "Grab" app was pretty good but not as good as "Snip". Now, Apple has taken Grab away and is forcing us to use keystrokes instead of the GUI mouse. Why is this? It really seems like a step BACKWARDS, by a lot. If the programmers at Apple wanted to replace Grab, why don't they replace it with something better? Something more like Snip??

Now I am forced to find a GUI driven aftermarket app to replace Grab. Is there an app that is like the Windows version of Snip that I can use on Catalina 10.15?? I really need something

There is an app on Catalina named "Screenshot.app" in the Utilities menu when using a Finder window to view the "Applications", but the physical location of applications is now /System/Volumes/Data/System/Applications or /System/Volumes/Data/System/Applications/Utilities.

Perhaps that will help...

ps -- just realized that the shift+command+5 command is a shortcut to that application now, which the two other replies alluded to...
