Constantly having issues with duplicate files on iTunes, and iTunes wanting to download new versions. Right now in my library, I see this for every album I've purchased directly from iTunes. How do I consolidate so that the files don;t need to be re-downloaded and I can keep all the details about the files (album artwork, play couonts, ratings, etc.)?

See Duplicate songs in iTunes - Apple Community. The tracks with the exclamation marks aren't where iTunes is expecting to find them. Perhaps you've been too liberal while trying to remove duplicates.

It worked! Signing out and signing back in again made the files appear as per normal, and I was able to consolidate my library bit by bit to move it to the network storage.
