Garageband speeds up imported songs

When importing a song into Garageband, it speeds it up so much that it is unusable. How do I fix this?

Hey Christianpedro19,

I had the same issue after upgrading to Catalina. I was using GarageBand version 10.1.2.

I have since removed that and installed version 10.3.3 and importing MP3's, M4A's, etc. now works OK in this version.
