Apple Watch stuck on Passcode screen

Hello!

I have a very big issue:

My apple watch updated and restarted, but I forgot my passcode! It's now stuck on the Passcode screen, and I can't erase all content and settings as shown in the guides.

I tried to erase all content from the phone; it first unpaired it from the phone successfully, but then got stuck on the watch side and still requires a passcode!

I have no idea what to do now, any help at all to restore it would be much appreciated
