Turn off ask to buy

How do we turn off “the ask to buy” option when it is not visible in the Apple ID account for my child? She is not able to purchase and I don’t receive a confirmation information about her purchase. It’s a cul-de-sac for her!

I can't turn off "Ask to Buy". My daughter turned 18 so "ask to buy" no longer shows up under Family Sharing for me to turn off but it still pops up on my daughters phone whenever she tries to buy something. I no longer get the notification to approve so she can't buy anything unless I physically approve on her phone with my log in info which is a real pain.

What do you do if your kid is listed as an "adult" and there is no "ask to buy" option listed? What do you do if your kid is listed as an adult, and you want to add "ask to buy" option but it isn't listed?

Ask to buy Let's say I turn 18 but my parent/guardian doesn't turn off the "ask to buy" does it stay like that forever or turns off on its own?
