If this were me, I would start by Creating a Time Machine Backup of my Mac. That way I could be assured that Incan recover my Mac, should I need the App back or if anything goes wrong due to the removal.

To Create a Time Machine backup:

Create a Time Machine backup of your Mac, so that you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong with the reinstall.

Request an Uninstaller Application:

Contact the Company of the software company.

Note: Deleting an Application by dragging its icon from the Applications folder to the Trash, doesn’t necessarily mean that all files are deleted.

So, for assuredness, contact the Company who manufactures the Application, and see what other steps are required for full removal.

32bit apps work in High Sierra and Mojave and will continue to do so. macOS Catalina does not run 32bit apps.

Some apps can be deleted by simply dragging the app to the Trash and emptying it. Other apps may need to be deleted

using an uninstaller provided by the apps developer. Contact the developers to find out the best way to delete their apps.
