Transfer contacts from one iMac to another

Just got a new iMac with Catalina on and would like to transfer all contact information over from old iMac to New, is it possible moving just info of contacts?

The most simple method is using iCloud. Turn it on in both devices ( https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208681 ) and then ensure contacts is checked for each and you will always be synchronized between the 2 devices. I would do the same for all of your other files.

No, if you just deselect Contacts in iCloud on your new Mac, you won't see them anymore on your new Mac .

I guess you'll have to export and import them, but I've never tried it, so I'm not 100% sure. Maybe there is a more easy way to do this? Feel free to ask on this forum.
