How can I get pages for el capitan?
My iMac late 2009 cannot be updated to another System. It ist 10.11.6. I have the original iWork suite with pages V 4.0 How or where can I get a newer pages for el capitan? Thanx!

Did you ever install Pages v5.6 thru v5.6.2 on your El Capitan installation, or if so, did you back it up with Time Machine? Apple does not provide past, full installer versions of Pages applications, only the current versions in the Mac App Store that require Mojave or later installed.
If you have the original retail iWork '09 DVD content installed, then you can update it with the last updater which is iWork Update 9.3. That will give you Pages '09 v4.3, Numbers '09 v2.3, and Keynote '09 v5.3. That is the end of the line for the iWork '09 apps.
