PS4 console to iMac (as monitor)

Can I connect my PS4 to my iMac via HDMI or any other means? I have a small tv sitting next to my iMac, which seems redundant to me. TIA!

Only certain models of older iMacs before 2014 could support video input, i.e. Target Display Mode, using another mac as the source video, essentially functioning as an external display for other devices.

With the Kanex XD HDMI external converter, and one of those older model compatible Macs, you could use any HDMI source with that feature. Those are hard to find now, and current Macs don't support that feature now.

Using your network to stream from the gaming console is another option, if you don't mind the glitches!
