How to connect Playstation 4 to imac

How do you or what cable is needed for your IMac to use as a display for your gaming system (Ps4)? (hdmi to thunder port 3 or 4 or usb-c) possible?

Hi, dannen33, you’d need an external hdmi game capture card/device. I believe elgato makes a few of them, as do others

+1 Jack-19 is correct, your iMac will not act as an external display for your Playstation, please remember it is a computer and not an external display for other devices.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to use an iMac as a display for a PS4, or any other device.
