External gpu for 2018 Mac mini
Has anybody tried a external gpu that work with the 2018 Mac mini other than the apple one. I noticed on Mac sales web that they don’t recommend the external gpu they sell.

As a more concrete example I use a Sonnet Breakaway Box 350W with a Red Dragon RX 570-4GB with my 2018 mini running Mojave, but I've heard Polaris cards have issues not auto reconnecting after a system restart on Catalina.
