WiFi Greyed out on my iPhone Xs and now on my iPhone 11 PRO

Hi

I had for about 1 year the iPhone Xs and had the wifi button greyed out. I tried many reset and backup without successes. The only option was to bring it to the store to get it completely flushed and re-installed as new and it worked. I gave it to my wife and she doesn't have any problem.

I bought an iPhone 11 PRO and just after 1 month I am having the same problem. Wifi button is greyed out. It wasn't after an Update/Upgrade but all a sudden it happened in the same way of my iPhone Xs.

Backup doesn't work and I am wondering the root cause of this problem. I am tired to do a complete flush and re-install as a new phone.

  • Could it be to due Bluetooth devices?
  • Could it be due to the Device Management Profile I am using?

I was using iPhone since the iPhone 3 and never had problem with WiFi and now 2 phones in a row with problem.... Really annoying.

Any help?

This may hopefully sort it: Apple Official Resolution: Wi-Fi settings greyed out or dim

Verify that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode. ... Note: This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings. Ensure that yourdevice is using the latest software.19 Nov 2013
