When I AirPlay from my phone to the TV, the TV goes to sleep due to "inactivity" although it's apparently active. This renders AirPlay pretty much useless. This started happening after tvOS 13 upgrade not too long ago. This is definitely a P0 if you ask me.

You can change the sleep settings on your Apple TV. If you need want to Airplay content for hours on end then set Sleep for never.
