Hi does anyone know how to randomly rename a group of files (.jpg). I have looked online but can’t get the code to work and don’t really understand it.

Do you mean going from something like:
1234.jpg
4567.jpg
To:
Walk in the Park 1.jpg
Walk in the Park 2.jpg
?

Randomly rename how? Be more descriptive of the process you envision. Separate, or nested folders involved. What part of the filename is randomly renamed? Is a prefix, or suffix involved, or filename pattern to be taken into account?
So I have got a few photos that are already names but in the order I took the photos. I want to put them into a video in a random order so the same photos are not next to each other.
So I want to add a number to them to change the order so it’s random. I have found scripts to do it online from a few years ago but can’t get it to work.
I have already tried this. It renames the files but in the same order and not a new random order. Unless I am doing something wrong.
