Why do I no longer have the option to enter a name for group texts?

Is it Green or Blue: You can name only group iMessages (Blue), not MMS group messages (Green).

Group iMessage

These messages appear in blue text bubbles, go through Apple instead of your carrier, and are protected by end-to-end encryption. In a group iMessage, everyone can:
