in iPad 0S, when I try to crop a photo, it won’t let me do what I want - it takes control over proportions and placement. Is there anyway to disable this awful feature?

I can’t. I’m at 13.1.3, and I’m not getting the software update prompt.
Thanks. Even though I do have it set for auto software update, it didn’t happen on 3 of my 4 iToys. As soon as two of them finish updating, I can try cropping again. Guess now I have to figure out why I wasn’t notified about any of the updates ...
