Repeating message to log into my Apple ID that I haven't used in over 11 months?

Things have been going along fine. No changes to passwords, nothing. But today, on my iPhone XR running 13.2.3 I get a message to log into my Apple ID. But it was my Apple ID from over a year ago! To try and fix it. I went through and reset my correct Apple ID password and after an hour or so I got the same message on my iPhone. I called Apple but they couldn't help.


Plus, Keychain created a new keychain! I don't know how to recover my Keychain. Why would Apple create a new Keychain because someone changes their password?


Please help. Why would I get a prompt to enter a password for an Apple ID that I haven't used in over 11 months?

Check to see if there could be something you missed here that's coming back to haunt you...What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support


Pay close attention to this in the above article..........If you updated your Apple ID email address* before signing out of iCloud, and your device repeatedly asks for the password to your previous Apple ID, you can temporarily change your Apple ID to sign in.

I'm not sure if that still works you can try or ask Apple if it does before you try just click "Contact Support" top right of this page.

Check the App Store and iTunes Store to see if there are any updates for apps/purchases. A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
