It's an app you have installed on your Mac and it is starting up automatically .

If you don't want to the app, remove it from your system.

If you want to keep the app, but don't want it to start up automatically:

  • Click on the apple icon at the menu bar
  • Click on SystemPreferences
  • Click on users and groups
  • Unlock the padlock on the bottom left
  • Click on logging in
  • Select the app and remove it by clicking on the minus-button

it sounds like an app that is on your Mac . Maybe Spotlight can help you to locate it? (Click on the magnifying glass at the right side on your menubar.

I am wondering, but I really don't know: can it be an extensions in one of your browsers?

it can't harm to run free Malwarebytes for Mac (www.malwarebytes.com )to see if it's a PUP (potentially unwanted program)
