Annoying folders pop up box

ALL OF A SUDDEN TODAY WHEN I TOUCH ANY OF THE SHORTCUTS ON THE BOTTOM OF MY SCREEN OR ONE OF MY FOLDERS A BOX POPS UP SAYING FOR EXAMPLE ON THE PHONE ICON: IT HAS A BOX THAT SAYS VIEW MOST RECENT CALL/SEARCH FOR CONTACT/CREATE NEW CONTACT/VIEW MOST RECENT VOICEMAIL/ OR EDIT HOME SCREEN. HOW DO I STOP THIS FROM POPPING UP AND JUST GOING TO THE NORMAL PHONE SCREEN?

I apologize for making you think I was SHOUTING. I use caps all day at work and no one has ever emailed me back thinking I was shouting so I don't think of it that way. Thank you for your suggestion....it fixed it.

Have a great night!!

You are aware on the internet that all capital letters is considered SHOUTING?

There is no setting to change, normally if you keep your finger on the icon or press on it you will get the pop up you are seeing. You can try a forced restart on your iPhone by pressing the volume up button and then release it, then press the volume down button and release it, then hold in the side button until you see the Apple logo then let go of the button.
