Xcode 11 running slow on base model 16" MacBook Pro

I've just upgraded from the 15" late 2014 MacBook pro base model to a 16" MacBook Pro base model and for some reason Xcode decides to run better on my 2014? I've noticed just adding a UI TextField the entire system slows down and I get the pin wheel, It takes about 10 Seconds to add the text field and even then I can't even write in it! I've switching it to the high performance graphics but no difference. I'm thinking it's something to do with it being beta?

16 Inch Base Model MacBook Pro

Tried:

Restarting Computer

Turning off automatic graphics switching

(p.s I'd hate to have to reinstall it because how big it is and how slow my internet is)
