I saw this article https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210611 but it doesn't have anything about syncing / transferring excel files from an iphone (in my case an iphone 6s) to my macbook pro. Anyone know how to do this? I used to be able to do so with iTunes, but after updating to Catalina I don't seem to be able to do so.

Save it under Files App (iCloud)
In Excel Save it under OneDrive
Use Cloud Drives (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive, DropBox, Flickr, box, AmazonDrive etc)

Hello SravanKrA and thank you for your reply. I would rather not use the cloud. Doesn't Apple have a way to transfer excel files from iphone to laptop any longer? If not, I'm very disappointed.
