Is there a reason why my extra wide lens on my iphone 11 is not working, i only got the phone at the beginning of October and after 2 weeks of using it, without dropping it or doing anything different to it, and being fully updated on IOS, it still does not allow me to access the 0.5x zoom. I don’t know of a fix and have tried everything.

I went to the apple store this morning and they tried to replace my camera module under warranty to see if that would fix it. It didn’t work, so they just gave me a new phone under warranty. After I set up the new phone it still wasn’t working, so we concluded that it was a problem with my iCloud backup. Reset your phone completely and don’t restore from an iCloud backup, the ultra wide lens is now working for me.

Reboot your phone and see if that solves this:
Press and quickly release volume up button
Then press and quickly release volume down button
Then press and keep holding the power button (keep holding past swipe to power off) until you see the Apple Logo, then let go
You could try Settings > Camera and make sure Capture Outside the Frame is on in both photos and videos, but if that doesn't help, then schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation.
I’m having the same problem, did you manage to find a fix to it?
I can’t say for certain but if you have the photo backup enabled where it saves your photos to iCloud, then it should transfer your photos over. That’s what it did for me anyways. I would just make sure you have them uploaded to iCloud before you do it.
Unfortunately that still hasn’t worked, is there anything else i could do?

I’ve tried resetting my phone but nothing seems to work... did you end up taking it to the Apple store?
The apple store closest to me is an hour and half drive, so i haven’t had the chance
If i do that, does that not mean i’ll lose everything i have saved into my iCloud backup such as photos?
