hi guys. we have a Apple TV 4k at home and i would like to add this device as an family member. Reason? i have bought a new phone and we got 1yr apple TV + for free but it works only on phones, not on the Apple TV 4k.
You cannot add a device as a family group member, you can only add Apple IDs. any devices signed into those Apple IDs will then automatically become part of the Family Sharing group.
If the Apple Id being used on the Apple TV is the same one as the Apple ID being used by a device currently in Family sharing, then the Apple TV will have acces to the shared content including TV+.
