Connecting to hotspot

Can someone please tell me how to make my iPhone stop connecting to hotspot of another iPhone on the same network? Or perhaps Apple developers could change this aweful feature in the next update! Also can we bring back auto updates of apps without entering Apple ID password? What is the point of auto update if you have to enter the password constantly?

Your iPhone should not connect to the Hotspot of other devices on your network unless 1) they are signed into the same Apple ID as you, and 2) you select that device to connect to. Instant hotspot, as that is referred to, would not connect otherwise.

As far as updates, it sounds like you may have the App Store set to require password always. I do not have to enter my password when updating apps. While I don't use auto update for all apps, when I open the App Store when notified of updates, I just tap update and away it goes.
