Somehow, a very much used Folder in my Safari Bookmarks - Favorites was moved into a different folder in my Favorites. It is now a “sub-folder” . I do not want to lose all of the folders in there or delete them.
Or, how can I move a folder out of a sub- folder back to Favorites?

Thank you so much. I must say that I was not sure that I had stated the question very well, but it worked exactly as you explained it. Thank you so much. Now I can carefully clean out some old, unused folders.

With the Bookmarks menu showing tap Edit > Tap each bookmark > Choose its location.
