We picked up our Series 5 watches today. My wife sets up the Minnie Mouse face but the darn mouse won’t speak the time.
We have charged for 15 min. and removed the face then restored the face. All other settings are turned on and set correctly.
Anything else we could try?
Well, I don't know what happened, but after a full charge Minnie is now working properly.
Oh, and there was an update for my wife's watch to the latest watchOS, so that may have contributed to the miracle.

Sweep up on your watch face to the Control Panel and see if Airplane or Theater Mode is on by accident.
