Missing Notes

Help! I got a new phone and I thought i had transferred everything onto it from my old phone but my notes didn’t. When I checked the old phone I noticed that the notes weren’t in the iCloud folder so I moved them into it, I seen that they had in fact moved so I went ahead and signed out of I cloud and then logged back into iCloud but on the new phone. Now, the notes cannot be found. I suspect (hope) that they are in the old phone somewhere, can I recover the notes and how would I do so?

You need to sign back into iCloud on the old phone and allow enough time for the notes to sync to iCloud. They should then sync to the new phone.
