iPhone disabled for over 23 million minutes!

I have an odd error message on my “older” iPhone. It reads “iPhone is disabled try again in 23,066,666 minutes”. That’s over 43 years! It also thinks it’s Sunday, January 4th, but no year is given. Today is Sunday, December 1st, 2019. The minutes have been counting down but what’s going on here?
