Is it possible to change the size of the icon on your Favorites on Safari?

A while ago there was an update that caused the Favorite icons to increase in size. When you click on the search bar, underneath it you have all of your saved Favorite sites. They used to be a tad smaller and I've been trying to find a way to get them back to their previous size without any success. I thought I would get used to it by now but I haven't. It bugs me a bit and I was hoping there was a solution.
