I purchased a new iPhone. I logged out of old Apple ID and created new one and logged in. Is my phone number still linked to old account for iMessages?
If you log into the old ID, does the phone number show there? If it does, can you remove it?
If the number was listed on the old ID, it will probably be removed.
Can phone number be added back to old account for iMessage or does iMessage phone number now only work on new account with phone? I want to be sure those on old account can’t see my iMessages.
Creating a new Apple ID is likely to cause a number of issues. For example, anything you purchased under the old Apple ID will have to be purchased again.

I don't think a phone number can be used on more than one Apple ID, but I've not seen an Apple article that states that.
