This is annoying, I dunno why IPhone 11 Pro is not displaying am and pm next to time in main screen and lock screen. What if someone is underground. This is very stupid. I bought 11 pro today and got exhausted by seeing the time.
Will there be any fix for this ?

iPhone 6S to iPhone 8 also displays battery percentage (if you chose to see it). But ... not in 11. (Also not in iPhone X or later.)
Screen real estate has been rearranged to use for other more meaningful purposes. Again, if you need to see AM/PM, open the Clock app and check under "World Clock".

No. It is not a defect.
You may see AM / PM in the Clock app.
What !!!??? In the attached image from 11 pro, please check the time in top left corner. We need to see am and pm over there.

now i got AM/PM back but the location symbol(?) look weird
It used to show on my iphone 11 pro max but in the next day it disappeared ....
AM and PM is not displaying in IPhone 11
