Mac OS X version 10.2.8 update

Hi everybody ! I am currently on Mac OS X version 10.2.8 and I can't navigate on internet due to the old version I guess ! I can enter in google , and also enter in some site( old style I guess ) but in most of the sites the error comes like : PROTECTION ERROR .

Can someone suggest me what can I do ? maybe an update for the softwer ?

I found MACosupdate10.2.8_G5 but I can't open it as DMG file , I also do not have disk image mounter .

A big help would be appreciated !

You basically need a newer computer; if it matters, going from 10.2.8 to any newer version requires a paid OS upgrade, but your computer's maximum OS will be too low for many websites.
