Text Message Notification won’t go away

My series 4 is indicating that I have a text message, but I do not. I have rebooted my phone and watch and it is still acting as if I have an unread text message. What else can I do? I just got this watch 3 days ago ....

I receive the text but i have to look on the message option on the watch to read. No sound from the text and no display on my home screen. Messages complication shows unread message The Messages complication on my watch shows one unread message. But all the text messages on my phone are read. How can I get rid of the incorrect notice on my watch? Thanks, Rob
