Download 200+gb pictures / videos from icloud to pc time frame

If i have 200gb of photo's / videos on icloud, how long do i have to wait when i receive a "your video photo library is being prepared" prompt when trying to download files onto my windows 10 platform? it is currently not allowing me to do so and I have waited more than 24 hrs.
