HP Laserjet 1018 is normally a Windows (or Linux) printer. However, (via a Laserjet 1022 driver) it may be possible to use the printer with at least some Mac OS X versions. Are you using the Laserjet 1018 with a PC or a Mac?
The Laserjet 1018 is intended for a connection to a computer through USB. The printer does not have Ethernet nor Wi-Fi.

As far as I know, direct iPhone 5s to HP Laserjet 1018 printing over USB is not at all possible.
If you are using a Mac, you may want to carry out experiments with an appropriate third-party application (for example, Printopia) for printing from the iPhone 5s via the computer (Wi-Fi).
