error message- messages in icloud is disabled-

Hello,

I just upgraded to the new iphone 11pro max- and while everything else transferred over via my backup- my imessages did not- it keeps saying imessage is disabled- when I click on repair account, nothing happens. I have tried signing in and out, resetting network settings, resetting all settings. And nothing gets rid of the error. Am I doomed with this forever? thanks!

In my messages app it says"Messages in iCloud is currently disabled" giving me the option to "repair account" which does nothing. Messages is toggled on in my icloud. I am running ios 12.3.1 - anyone have a fix for this? I've that seen people on ios 11.3.1 have been having issues but not on the current ios.......

imessage disabled I received a message that messages in iClound not available as iCloud and iMessage accounts don't match. how do i reconcile and fix this? Thanks for the help!

My phone is off and I’m using my iCloud and it’s not letting me text now and then iMessage is Signed Out An error occurred and your account is signed out of iMessage. You may miss messages as a result. Please goto settings to address this issue. [Image Edited by Moderator to Remove Personal Information]
