macOS Catalina killed LBP3000 printer

I have upgraded to catalina but my printer stopped working.

Whether for the I-Sensys LBP3000 or the Laser Shot LBP3000, Canon has Nov 2019 printer drivers for either that are indicated as compatible with 10.13, 10.14. and Catalina (10.15). Neither printer is shown supported by Apple's AirPrint.


After the compatible drivers are installed, one must Reset the Print System to add the printer back with the new driver installation.
