Hi,
Is this the HP DeskJet 2600 All-In-One Printer? If so, it is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support as a model supporting the driverless AirPrint technology. An AirPrint model is compatible with macOS, and can be used without additional drivers, provided that the printer and the Mac computer are connected to the same network (W-Fi router). Is this the way your printer is connected?
Are you using the macOS 10.15 Catalina mentioned in your profile?
If all settings are OK, and if there is a problem with AirPrint device discovery, you could try the following power-cycle sequence (with these waiting times): Power off the Wi-Fi router, the printer, the Mac, and all other connected
devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the Mac. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.
